Special Needs

Chairperson: Cindi Swanson

Focus: Address the challenges people with disabilities face in the church community and the community as a whole. Its mission is to help the parish create the type of community where all feel welcome and invited to all ministries offered in the church.

Service Opportunities: Sponsor an annual “Special Needs/Inclusion Awareness Weekend“ highlighting the gifts people with disabilities bring to our community and providing mentorship in ministries.

Time Commitment: Monthly meetings (1 hour)

Prerequisites or training requirements: Passion to form community for people with disabilities.
