Salvation
Jesus saves. But how?
We know Christ saves us, we speak of our Redeemer, but are we sure we know what we mean by that? How do we explain to others, Christians or non-churched, why our symbol of faith is a broken body of a political prisoner hung on a Roman instrument of torture? What does that death, 2000+ years ago, have to do with the suffering of humanity today?
These questions are at the heart of our faith and of our answer to the mystery of what life is about. If you would like to prepare for this session, please read CCC paragraphs 571 – 658.
